ENTRY-LEVEL ACTUARIAL JOBS
Actuarial Jobs, Inc. (AJI) specializes in the recruitment and placement of Property & Casualty Actuaries, Product Managers and Modelers (e.g., Predictive Modelers, CAT Modelers).
We receive many eMails and calls from Math, Statistics and Actuarial Science students and graduates who are seeking entry-level Actuarial jobs.
AJI currently has no Search Assignments for entry-level employees or Actuarial Interns. Our current assignments require a minimum of one to two years of Property & Casualty Actuarial work experience, plus two (2) or more Exams passed.
Client companies always pay our Fees. However, because of the worldwide recession, employers are not willing to pay Fees to Recruiters to find employees with no Actuarial work experience.
HOW DO I FIND AN ENTRY-LEVEL ACTUARIAL JOB?
It is our recommendation that you do the following:
- If you are still in school or a recent graduate, interview on-campus if your university has potential employers who visit your campus.
- Contact potential employers directly, rather than going through Recruiters. This will take some research and if you are willing to do the research, you will have an advantage over the recent graduates who don’t do the research.
- Attend Job Fairs and follow up with the employer representatives who you meet.
- Do as much networking as possible and seek advice from your academic advisers.
